Nicky Whelan
Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. She became known in Australia through her character Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap show Neighbors over a period of one hundred episodes that aired between 2006 and 2007. She came to Hollywood with two projects: first with the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine where she played an aspiring actress arriving in Hollywood. Her next project was in Scrubs as Maya the sexy and very attractive medical student, in Scrubs' ninth season. The series was suddenly halted. Following that, she was able to work on an episode of the Farrelly brothers-produced comedy called Good To Shoot that starred Jason Sudeiki and Owen Wilson tandem. Thereafter the actress was featured in the short-form series as well as B-series movies. 2013 was the year she was able to take on more challenging projects. She was featured for six seasons on the show about detectives, Franklin and Bash, and later, she got her first appearance as a regular on the web-based show Chosen that starred Milo Ventimiglia. In the initial two seasons, she played Chad Michael Murray's response to both seasons. Following that she appeared in the supporting characters in two feature films featuring airplanes. She is the flight attendant. In addition, she as well as Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador the brand-new TV show. This thriller series where the characters play CIA agents, and is produced by director Robert Rodriguez however does not extend beyond a season that is 13 episodes. They are currently working on the pilot of a second series that does not succeed.
