Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia, is a model and actress. In Australia, she became famous for the role Pepper Steiger that she played on the soap opera Neighbors with a total of 100 episodes from 2006 to 2007. Her debut project in Hollywood was a choral comedy called Hollywood & Wine that she appeared in, where she played a young actress that is newly arrived in Hollywood. Then she was offered a part in the role of Maya an extremely seductive medical student, in Scrubs' ninth season. After a short time, the show gets canceled. Then, she begins filming for a Farrelly brother comedy Good to shoot, starring Jason Sudeiki / Owen Wilson tandem. This will be followed by appearances on series films and B series. In 2013 she got more exposed roles: six episodes from the series detective Franklin and Bash and her debut role as a permanent character in Chosen in Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia. In the first two series she is also an answer to Chad Michael Murray.
