Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. She gained recognition in Australia through her character Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap series Neighbors over a period of one hundred episodes that were broadcast from 2006 to 2007. In Hollywood it was her first time on two separate projects. First was Hollywood & Wine on which she played an actress who was struggling. In the end, she was cast as Maya in Scrubs where she played the role of a highly seductive medical student. The show is then abruptly stopped. Following that, she was able to make a Farrelly brothers comedy called Good To Shoot starring Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson tandem. Thereafter, the actress appeared in the short-form series as well as B-series movies. As of 2013, the actress had the opportunity to work on larger projects. She appeared for six seasons on the series detective Franklin and Bash, and then got her first role as a regular on the online series Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia. In the two first seasons she is also an answer to Chad Michael Murray. In the following year she was seen in supporting parts in two feature films featuring aircrafts. The role she plays is that of a flight assistant. She along with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador, a brand new television show. The first season of this thriller with the stars who take on the role of CIA agents directed by Robert Rodriguez, comprises only 13 episodes. The pilot for another show, which hasn't yet been completed, is in production. The poster for Borrowed Moments, a B series romance, was shared with Brian Krause in 2015. Her appearance was on the set of the show Witness for Rent which featured Kevin Hart Josh Gad Kad Cuoco. Also, she is an integral part of the huge audience of the experimental Knight of Cups by Terrence Malick. She also appears in five episodes from the Satisfaction series.
