Nicky Whelan
Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980, in Australia, is a model and an actress. Her fame was first noticed in Australia for her role as Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap show Neighbors for a total of 100 episodes broadcast between 2006 and 2007. In Hollywood the actress began her career with two distinct projects. It was first Hollywood & Wine where she played a struggling actress. After landing the role of Maya in Scrubs in which she played an extremely seductive medical student. But, the show abruptly canceled. The actress is then back in the shooting of a comedic series by the Farrelly brothers Good to shoot, starring Jason Sudeikis' partner Owen Wilson then appearances in the series' short films as well as B-series movies. As of 2013, the actress was able to take on more challenging tasks. She appeared for six seasons on the series detective Franklin and Bash, and after that, she landed her first role in a regular role on the web-based series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia. The first two seasons, she was Chad Michael Murray's counterpart throughout each season. Following that, she was featured as a supporting character in two feature films set inside airplanes The first was a television film made for the SyFy network Flight 7500: A Way Back with a cast of actors from television series and the other is an action movie Le Chaos, carried by Nicolas Cage. She is portrayed as a flight assistant. More importantly, she together with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador which is a new television series. A 13-episode series is all that Robert Rodriguez has planned for his thriller where actors play CIA agents. The pilot is in the process of being developed of another series which however does not succeed. She also shared her poster for the B-series romantic comedy Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause then appeared as the comic Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. Also, she is an integral part of a large distribution of Terrence Malick's experiment Knight of Cups. She is featured in five shows of Satisfaction.
