Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay was born on the 15th of September 1915 was raised in Ogden Utah. Born into the Mormon Church's very first family, Fawn McKay devoted her brilliant literary talents and remarkable research skills to creating the brilliant psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled The Only Man is able to know My History. This title was inspired by the funeral sermon delivered by Joseph Smith who was the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. He shocked his audience by saying: "You don't even know my name. It's been a long time since you've seen the depths of my soul." My history is not known to anyone. In reality that I'm not sure. Fawn, a 29-year-old woman said: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have risen to the challenge." Many have mocked and denigrated the man, and others attempt to identify the cause. It isn't the case that there's not enough documentation but rather they are wildly divergent. It is a daunting task to put together the documents, of separating firsthand accounts from third-hand plagiarism of fitting Mormon as well as non-Mormon stories to create a picture that is credible history. I find it both fascinating and fascinating. FawnBrodie was a dedicated devotee to her profession. Her work in research and writing earned her fame all over the world. Thaddeus Stephens. "The Devil's Road" (1959) The Scourge of South. The Life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. The Intimate Histories (1974) The Life of Sir Richard Burton (1974) and Richard Nixon.
