Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on the 16th of April, 1997 in Miami Florida. A half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish as well as English descendance. Her mother is Spanish and English origin. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children, four come from her father's previous marriage. The family is originally of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult, and she did not study English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands and then Hill House. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. She quit high school at 16 in order to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy always wished to work as an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the possibility to be a model.
