Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known to the music world, is an British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994. He is the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former pupil of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools was the founder of a band called White Eskimo with three fellow students. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they took home the trophy. He was always interested in music, but he wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapist. He was employed at a local bakery part-time in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. This was the reason the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a new band called One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation took place in the year 2010. The five members were funded by Simon Cowell. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The consequence, they were one of the finalists. Despite this, they finished third in front of Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
