Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She was the founder of The Huffington Post and the chief executive officer of Thrive Global. Author of more than 15 books. Arianna Huffington is an writer, journalist, TV host, and also the proprietor of The Huffington Post. Her birthplace was in Greece then moved to England when she was sixteen. At Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in economics. Being the first non-English-speaking student, she was elected president of The Cambridge Union' at age 21. The success of her conservative journalist was further consolidated when she graduated. With the introduction of The Huffington Post a few months later, she launched an online voice portal that offered critical opinions on the politics. It was possible for her to recruit several prominent contributors who posted their opinions about politics and culture. Arianna was famous in 2003 when she ran as an independent candidate in the California recall elections in order to replace Governor Davis. Arianna was also part of a Detroit-based project that promoted efficient vehicles that use less fuel. Forbes declared her to be as one of the "most important women" in the media industry and ranked her 12th. Guardian placed her on their list of the 100 most influential media people in 2009. AOL, Inc. made her the President of their media company in 2011 after they bought The Huffington Post. The Huffington Post included other AOL brands such as Engadget AOLmusic Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli was the son of Konstantinos the Journalism and management expert. Though she shared a close friendship with her mother and father, it was their bond that shaped her. As a child, she showed leadership traits which she is still renowned for. At 16 years of age she relocated back to United Kingdom to pursue her studies and enrolled in Girton College Cambridge. In college, she was a member of the Cambridge Union, a college debating club. As the third woman president and first foreigner, she held the position of head for the Cambridge Union. In 1972, her Master's in Economics was awarded. In the years following her graduation, she worked as a journalist and TV host. Her appearance in Face the music with Bernard Levin was also notable. She started writing books with his guidance for editing.
