Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. She was born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington Paquin was able to make her acting debut portraying Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at age 11 and was the 2nd youngest recipient in Oscar history. In her twenties her age, she was a novice or had any experience in acting. As a teenager she emigrated to the United States. Paquin played Jane Eyre's protagonist as a teen in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (2000) as well as the main role for the character in Fly Away Home (2000).
